Balaji Bearings is a company that specialises in bearing solutions, providing a high-speed, high-precision thrust load solution based on the Axial Angular Contact Bearings. We are a reputable distribution company that caters to clients worldwide in Sri Lanka, South Africa, the UAE, Nigeria, Egypt, Indonesia, Thailand, and Kuwait. We have highly engineered axial angular contact ball bearings of high quality, which are particularly designed to withstand extremely high axial forces and rotational velocities without compromising on high rigidity.

Axial Angular

Applications of Axial Angular Contact Ball Bearings

  • CNC Machine Tool Spindles: The machine tool spindles are the main thrust-supporting, performance component. They provide the required high axial rigidity and low heat production for cutting operations with accuracy and speed.
  • Rotary Tables and Indexing Heads: These bearings are employed in precision positioning equipment to support the weight of the piece of work (axial load) and to give the precision of rotation necessary to perform a complex machining or inspecting operation.
  • High-Speed Vertical Pumps: These bearings are used in deep well pumps in the vertical mounting mode, allowing the weight of the motor, shaft, and impeller to be carried, and dealing with important downward axial forces at high rotation rates.
  • Turbochargers and Superchargers: These devices are tiny, but the concept controls the tremendous, high-speed, axial thrust created by the compressor and turbine wheels in forced induction systems.

Features of Axial Angular Contact Ball Bearings

  • High Axial Load Capacity and Stiffness: The high contact angle optimised to transmit a very high thrust force, and excellent axial stiffness and rigidity are the distinguishing factors.
  • High-Speed Capability: Optimised cage design and the ball rolling elements reduce the friction and generate less heat; hence, the bearings can be used at a very high rotation rate.
  • Preload Capability: These bearings are exclusively formulated to be utilised in a pre-loaded scenario (usually in pairs or more). Preloading removes internal clearance and increases the spindle system's stiffness drastically.
  • Separable or Unitised: They are usually delivered as a separable part (rings and cage assembly) designed to be easily installed and adjusted, or in sets pre-assembled to be mounted easily and fast.
